Refiners Firearms trains and equips men and Women for personal and home defense. Our passion is helping individuals, couples, and families learn to use firearms safely and effectively. We offer personal firearms self defense training, NRA firearms classes, specialized group training, and Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit training.
Refiners Firearms also specializes in the upper-tier, Custom 1911s from the worlds renowned custom shops!! Our boutique retail shop in Anthem Arizona serves the north Phoenix community.
We sell a full line of rifles, pistols, shotguns, ammunition, gear, and firearms accessories. In addition, we offer full-service gunsmithing and Custom Firearms Coatings.

Dena Bloom
Instructor & Mother
Dena Bloom is an NRA Certified Instructor and Momma to six wonderful children. Dena is a true warrior woman, and she loves helping other women learn to safely and effectively use firearms to defend themselves.
She also teaches appropriate mindset and situational awareness to identify and avoid possible threats and risky situations...and how to fight your way out of them if necessary.
Dena has become a valuable mentor to other women who are on the journey learning to protect themselves and their families.

Jonathan Bloom
Instructor & Father
Jonathan Bloom is an NRA Certified Instructor and Father to six amazing kids. Jonathan leads the training effort at Refiners Firearms and personally teaches all the classes.
Jonathan's passion is helping individuals, couples, and families learn to use firearms safely and effectively so they are better able to defend themselves and those they love.
- Jonathan is a long time student at Gunsite Academy, Inc. with over 400 hours training. He is also a student and Director Member at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute.
- Jonathan leads the marketing effort and supports retail sales for Refiners Firearms
